Worship Above Reason simply referred to as W.A.R took place over the weekend with rather a poor turnout which came as a shock to the organisers and the media after supposedly an okay publicity. www.flexgh.com can confirm that.
The maiden edition of the programme which paraded almost all the top-notch gospel artistes on one stage like Joe Mettle, Patience Nyarko, Joyce Blessing, Cwesi Oteng, Obaapa Christy among others expected a huge crowd to fill the New Dome of Action Chapel, Spintex. But it turned to record a negative history rather.
One of the organisers of the programme, Frank Kwabena Owusu popularly known on radio as Franky5 though isn’t happy about the patronage, has assured all and sundry that W.A.R is coming back strong and better come next year.
After accepting that he has spent so much on the programme, Franky5 is not discouraged one bit though it came as a shock to him.
Has the Christian community failed in supporting their own? Or something went wrong somewhere with regards to publicity?
