Gospel artiste, Patience Nyarko has without fear or favour said some gospel musicians in Ghana don’t use the monies they make during an album launch of their songs in pushing the song or supporting the ministry but rather they squander it. She revealed this to Sammy Flex on the Gospel Countdown Show on Atinka TV.
Patience Nyarko quickly added that sometimes some gospel musicians don’t put together any album lunch yet they get all the support they want to get. In her case for instance, her song W’afom Kwan was launched after a year of releasing it. According to her, she was even compelled to do that and not out of her own will.
When the host, Sammy Flex raised the issue of some people not wanting to help financially at a particular launch, she responded by saying she believes that the motive behind the album launch would rather stir genuine hearts to support the entire activity. Once it is a good motive, God will direct people to the person for all the necessary support.
She further stressed on the fact that gospel musicians keep inviting same people for the chairmanship position which would require that the person gives more, but sometimes disappoints at the event. She however advised those gospel musicians to look elsewhere and not to concentrate on one person for all events, since they can’t give financially all the time as expected.
Patience Nyarko promises to release another hit this year titled ‘Atigya.’
