Spirit filled Ghanaian gospel songstress Gifty Osei who is affectionately called Empress 1, last Wednesday 25th October celebrated her birthday in a grand style in Tema Community 1 market with the market women and a large number of kids in the community.
Turning a year older, She organized a birthday party at the market place to have fun with the kids and traders on the day. The party commenced with a great performance from Minister Simon who welcomed guests with his silky voice by performing some great Ghanaian gospel songs.
Gifty had 4 cakes and Champagnes in front of her with relatives, family and kids around her to celebrate. She served fans who attended the party with drinks, food, cake and other items. After sharing the food and drinks to the market women and the kids, she blessed the children making them feel special.
The celebration recorded a high profiled gospel personalities like Minister Kekeli, Abena Ruthy and others who came to support their colleague Gifty as she celebrated her day.
Gifty Osei’s mum who is popularly known as Maame Fante or Agaga, a renowned Ghanaian actress and comedian Parrot Mouth also came to entertain the crowd with hilarious jokes to show love for the gospel artiste.
When the gospel Diva Gifty Osei finally took the stage and ministered to the audience, heavens came down making other market women weep. She moved the crowd with great anointing songs which got people in the church service mood.
When www.flexgh.com asked why she decided to celebrate her birthday at the market, she said “I stayed at Tema Community 1 Market for years learning a trade as a seamstress. I took the decision to go back to where I started life, to tell the market women that no condition is permanent and in God’s time, He will make things possible in their lives.
She took the opportunity to minister to the people and surprisingly, Gifty Osei broke down in tears, and wept like a baby for quite some time.
